Job Purpose

As a valuable member of the Potter Inc. Manufacturing Team, a Bow Maker is responsible for all aspects of making and assembling hand tied bows.

Job Responsibilities

• Build or assemble product at or above established standard production rates.
• Interpret work orders and pull materials.
• Stack completed cartons on pallets.
• Label cartons.
• Assist other Bow Plant Team Members with work-related problems.
• Make samples.
• Deliver and return raw/finished goods to their proper location.
• Ability to adjust to daily demands in a professional manner.
• Follow Potter Inc. production, quality, and safety rules and procedures.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform work as assigned by the Floor Leader, or Supervisor.
• Work in other departments as directed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Physical/Mental Demands

• Manage changing daily demands
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• Work at least 40 hours per week and occasional overtime.
• Mental alertness is required to ensure safe and accurate completion of work.
• Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to use wire cutters, scissors, drill twist machine and roll cutter.

Work Environment

• Plant (100%)

• Ability to lift 30lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance.

SHIPPING / RECEIVING DEPARTMENT POSITION OPENING

This position is 1st shift M-F in a clean quiet work environment.

Job Qualifications -
· High School degree or equivalent, higher education helpful.
· Regular and reliable attendance is required.
· Mathematical ability is needed to configure the cube and footage of orders as well as calculating product classification and rates.
· Operate office equipment including, computer, copy machine, fax machine, label printers, packing slip and bill of lading printers and calculators.
· Use various websites on the Internet to obtain information.
· Use e-mail as a form of communication.
· Operate forklift, pallet jack, two wheeled cart, company truck and other company vehicles.
· Ability to read, write and communicate both verbally and written.
· Ability to work independently and make decisions.
· Ability to count accurately.
· Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
· Detail oriented.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License with no suspensions or revocations.
• Obtain forklift certification through Potter Inc.
· Use and understand the computer system to make inquiries, generate reports, orders, and related paperwork.
· Use the internet to track orders and obtain rates on various websites.
· Read and comprehend reports, picking tickets, invoices, and packing slips.
Physical/Mental Demands:
· Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
· Work overtime with short notice as needed.
· Have the ability to be flexible with the demands of the job.
· Mental alertness is required to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25,000.00 - $31,200.00 per year
