"Your speed doesn't matter, forward is forward."

I share this quote to remind myself and anyone else out there that even if you aren't going after it like you think you should, or your just holding too many plates to give certain things the dedication you'd like... progress is progress no matter at what speed. Sometimes it is good to go slow and pick where your attentions can be dedicated, knowing that God's timing is perfect and some things that you envision will eventually come to pass. Keep working at it- forward is forward, no matter the pace! Stay on the journey and don't be afraid to pick up where you left off. It too can often be part of the process. Grace friends, GRACE.

HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

Do you ever feel like your heart is too big and there are too many passions inside you to decide on one? I often get hung up because of this exact thing.

One minute I want to be my own boss, the next I just want a boss and coworkers that get me and are empowering. I press into one dream and stop to then pursue the next.

Life is full of diversity, not only in the physical but also in the heart. Le La Belle is a dream of mine..to be creative, to be my own boss, to create products that inspire and spread truth. However so is helping others with a marketable skill (i.e.- Lactation Consultant). As well as making a difference in the world around justice and equality, traveling, and to top them all being a great Mama and wife! How do we pick which to focus on?

A couple dear friends of mine stated the following quotes a few weeks back and it gave me some good perspective:

"I bet most people you talk to who feel they are doing what they are called to do didn't know with certainty that it was their calling at the start.... sometimes you just have to chose something and act on it."

"Saying yes to what's been put in front of us sometimes is the very best next step."

Can I get an 'AMEN' such wisdom in their words!

In the next few years I may not always know if I am pursuing what I'm called to, but I am working to do the next right thing for me and my family. One day I'll probably have peace that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do! For now it is a work in progress.

Meaning some Le La Belle and lots of Studying towards pursuing becoming an IBCLC. Oh and of course, lots of quality time with my hubs and daily play time on the floor with my baby girl!

Where to begin. This space has been in a deep hiatus as normal life goes on and so much has changed. Our sweet baby girl arrived in June 2015. I quit the Vine in 2016 and have been staying at home with my sweet girl since then. I am looking into pursuing a career in Lactation Consulting (helping Mamas nurse their babies). However I am also interested in getting back into this space in new and different ways.

I started an art Journal to document my daughters life and my journey of becoming a mother. The majority of my creativity has been involved in this, but I am feeling the urge to branch out. Dreaming about putting some of my work on journals and or cards. What y'all think about this?

Who knows what the future holds, but it is full of good things and the last 2 years have been an adventure full of challenges, but so much BEAUTY!

Goodness it has been so long since I posted! I'm not sure I ever communicated this, but in December of 2013 I started working with an amazing company called The Vine. In February of 2014 I started working with them full time. For this reason I have stopped pursuing Trust in the Treasure and been focused on creating in new ways (with flowers) along side an amazing team of women.

It was a financial blessing as well as a gift from God. I didn't realize how badly I needed a community of women in similar seasons of their journey in my day to day life until I started working there. I am still there and enjoying it! In fact, you should all check out the website and like them on Facebook! The 2 women that own it are some of the most loving, creative and generous people I know. On top of that Junior and I found out this past Christmas season that we would be welcoming a new addition to our family. Baby Jovin is due this coming June. With all the changes in the last year I have neglected my Trust in the Treasure fans, but know that I won't stop creating and my store is still up and running on etsy. I will say that new things are few and far between, but if you want something custom made I am still available, just send me a message!

I hope this past year has been amazing, but my true prayer is that this year, 2015 will be YOUR year! The year of miracles, answered prayers and canceled debt!

Keep moving forward and keeping pressing into your journeys, they are all SO important to this great big world we live in... And always remember to TRUST in Your Treasure!
