How it all began

when my oldest son wanted to gift his teacher, bus driver, cafeteria workers, custodian, principal, etc., etc. I loved where his heart was but couldn't afford it because I had just stopped working a high paying job to become a stay at home mom-not wanting to disappoint him, I had seen where someone had taken a Styrofoam ball and

a silver Christmas ball and hot glued them together adding beaded legs to make (The Legend of the) silver spider-having been a hippy type while attending the UMD I still had a lot of beads and while I didn't like the glob of hot glue she used, knew could come up with a cute handmade gift to solve my problem-little did know the teachers would start ordering them and give them as gifts but then it just kept growing-so I've been making them since he was in 2nd grade and he is now 33-lives in SD, CA and still calls asking me to send him some for his Christmas gifts
