ATTENTION ALL ONE PIECE PLAYERS:
The much anticipated OP-17 pre-release tournament happens on Friday, August 21 at the Comic Cave Sunrise Mall. Because of the limited space and the expected turnout, the tournament will be held at the hallway alongside the H&M, leading to the Batting Cages. To ensure we get to serve the active TCG community that makes these events possible, all individuals who pay the 35 dollar buy-in are expected to play at least one round of the tournament to ensure all One Piece products go back to the TCG community.
We are expecting one of the biggest turnouts we’ve seen but due to a limited number of seats, promotional packs, and abiding to mall operation hours, there will be a 32 player count limit. Registration will be from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Everyone who has successfully registered on the Bandai TCG app and is not wait-listed and shows up before 5:45pm will automatically be allowed to compete. At 5:45pm we will begin going down the wait-listed individuals. Anyone who is successfully registered yet fails to show up before 5:45pm potentially give their spots up for wait-listed individuals who arrive before 5:45pm. At 6:00pm all players will begin building decks. (Due to an error on the Bandai app there are two registration lists, we will be going down the first list).
Due to Sunrise Mall operation hours, mall security will lock main entrances by 8:30pm. Exits by the Batting Cages and Hollister, will remain open until around 9:30pm. It is recommended to park in convenient and easy to access spots to these locations.
We are very excited and proud to serve the TCG community and we hope to ensure not only a smooth and timely tournament but a fun and exciting tournament for all players.
