Looking for a way cool retro radio for your garage or man cave? This Panasonic SA-504 4 channel stereo/radio with AM/FM tuner has its own built in speakers! Has RCA outputs for four external speakers if desired. Not very powerful, but great for listening to the radio while you work on your project car and stare at the sweet speedometer dial FM tuner all lit up!

I cleaned all controls with deoxit and replaced the lamps and its good to go for $99!

Heres a rare sleeper! This Lafayette LR-5000 was their TOTL unit and sounds way better than it has a right to for the price! Rated at a solid 35w/ch RMS. This is a stereo/Quadraphonic receicer with Lafayettes own full logic wave match SQ decoding AND built in CD-4 decoding. If you are into quad at all, you lnow that Lafayette had some of the best matrix decoders besides Sansui and Tate. This is a full featured stereo receiver and weighs in at over 30lbs!
Just serviced, all pots and switches cleaned with deoxit, dial lamps upgraded to LED, and a full cosmetic clean and detail. This is a very clean unit, I rate it 9.5 out of 10 condition.
Comes with a 6 mo limited warranty through my shop for $449

Heres a rare sleeper! This Lafayette LR-4000 was their second from TOTL unit and sounds way better than it has a right to for the price! Rated at a solid 25w/ch RMS @8 ohms, and double that into 4 ohms. This is a stereo/Quadraphonic receicer with Lafayettes own "Composure" stereo up-mix. If you are into quad at all, you lnow that Lafayette had some of the best matrix decoders besides Sansui and Tate. This is a full featured stereo receiver and weighs in at 30lbs!
Just serviced, all pots and switches cleaned with deoxit, dial lamps upgraded to LED, and a full cosmetic clean and detail. This is a very clean unit, only a few minor scratches take it down to a solid 8 out of 10 condition.
Comes with a 6 mo limited warranty through my shop for $399

***SOLD*** XX RARE Technics SH-3433 4 channel Audio Oscilloscopes, lot of two!

Technics: cosmetically 9/10! Absolutely beautiful, a couple small cabinet nicks. Has been recapped with Nichicon PW series long life low impedance 105°C caps. All pots and switches cleaned with deoxit. This scope works awesome and is super fun to watch while listening to music.

Panasonic version (top:) 8/10 cosmetics, needs cleaned. Does not work...power transformer is missing. It was this way when I got it. It does have the CRT tube!
Comes with original instructions.

These are very hard to find in working shape, especially recapped and restored.

This Harman Kardon Citation system hardly needs any introduction. These legendary components make up a fantastic audiophile system for a very good price. The Citation 16 has 150w/ch of power with dual power transformers like the smaller 930/730/430 twin power receivers.

Seventeen preamplifier:
-8/10 cosmetics.
-Recapped with Nichicon PW, UKL, and WIMA film caps.
-pots and switches cleaned with deoxit D5 and F5. The faders were left alone as they were noise free and still smooth.
-works as it should and sounds great!
-power switch lamp is burnt out , I did not have the correct replacement in stock.

Sixteen power amplifier:
Early version with opamp drivers. Sounds awesome with plenty of power.
-switches cleaned with D5.
-input coupling caps replaced with WIMA 1uf 63v film caps (raises corner frequency cut off to ~7hz and increases stability as well as lowers turn on relay time since amp stabilizes much quicker. This is a common mod to these early 16s. )
-handful of other small caps replaced with Nichicon PW.
-one LED does not work (lower right green LED.)
-one original filter cap was bypassed under the chassis with a snap in type Panasonic by previous owner/tech. Not the way I would do it, but it works. I will replace all 4 filter caps at buyers expense with new 10,000uf 100v screw terminal caps if desired.

Fifteen tuner:
-all new Nichicon PW and KL series electrolytic capacitors. Multi section can cap was bypassed underneath.
-all lamps work
-all pots and switches cleaned with Deoxit.
-works and sounds excellent, pulls in stations with ease. Has tight deep bass!

Whole system for $2,000 cash FIRM, no trades. I am only selling off equipment, I cannot assist with ourside restorations or repair recommendations.

I have priced everything fairly according to work performed and condition. Individual pricing:

17: $1200 firm
16: $900 firm
15: $500 firm

BLOWOUT sale!! This Pioneer SX-525 is in nice cosmetic shape, sounds great, and the important stuff has been done to it.

The good:
-Power supply recapped & rebuilt with Nichicon PW Caps
-Amplifier section rebuilt with Nichicon PW capacitors, modern Fairchild low noise transistors in place of the original input pairs
-LED lamps in the dial
-all controls cleaned with deoxit

The bad:
-FM tuner only receives static.
-I don't have speaker plugs for it.

Overall this is a nice budget receiver for someone who wants "the look" of a receiver and the performance of a small vintage integrated amp, but doesn't care about FM.

I have too many projects right now, my loss, your gain.

$150 takes this home. AS IS sale. Great for all office, bedroom, or apartment/dorm system!

Heres another fairly rare receiver! This JVC 4VR-5446 is very well built and sounds fantastic. Rated at 20w RMS x 4, or 44w RMS x 2 in stereo bridge mode, it has plenty of punchy warm power for most small to medium size rooms. It has discrete 4 channel inputs as well as built in CD-4 demodulator.

I performed the following service on this unit:
- Replaced all input pairs (2sa726's) on amplifier boards with hFE matched modern low noise KSA992's
-Replaced 2SC-458's in amplifier section with KSC1845's
-Replaced capacitors in power supply section with Nichicon PW and KL series, and cleaned up the dried corrosive glue.
-FM tuner aligned
-All pots and switches cleaned with deoxit
-Bias adjusted in amplifier section
-cosmetic clean and detail.
Overall it is cosmetically nice with a few small scratches consistent with age.
These vintage JVCs are a really good bang for the buck!

Another great Quadraphonic receiver! This Sansui QRX-5500, rated at 22w RMS x 4 channels, sounds punchy and warm and has plenty of power for most modest livingroom setups. Freshly serviced, all pots and switches cleaned with deoxit D5 and F5, amplifier adjusted, quad boards tested (replaced a few noisy transistors as well,) LED dial lamps, and any bad solder joints re-flowed. The face, & k***s were painstakingly cleaned and chrome push buttons polished. I rebuilt the matrix decoder board with all new transistors (ksc1845/992) replacing the old noisy ones. That board also got all new Wima film caps and Nichicon electrolytics.

Comes with a 6 month limited warranty for $650. I think you will see this is a great price for the amount of service work done. I will be taking this to my booth #1061 Gilley's Antique & Decorator Mall in Plainfield tomorrow if not sold by this evening.
