Friendly reminder from your Towne Pharmacy fam 💊 Go check that medicine cabinet! Expired and unused OTC meds need to go, and there's a safe way to do it.

Here's how:

✅ Check the label first. Some meds come with their own disposal instructions.

✅ Look for a take-back option. Drug take-back sites and events are the safest way to go.

✅ No take-back nearby? Mix meds with something gross like coffee grounds or kitty litter, seal it in a bag, and toss it in the trash. Keeps it out of little hands and curious paws.

✅ Scratch out your personal info on the label before you toss the bottle.

✅ When in doubt, don't guess. Give us a call or come see us. We're always happy to help!
