Brooklyn drum collective 🔧 Cymbal repair for .iv

“I saved up to buy my crash cymbal, but it cracked soon after purchasing. Acquiring both the knowledge and equipment to repair cymbals can feel out of reach, but Carlo brings affordable repair options to our music community. Because of his generosity, my broken cymbal gets a new life. Thanks Carlo!”

The series is one of our favorites, so we had to find a way to stop this crack from spreading. Drilling holes at each end didn’t do the trick—so we removed the crack entirely.

Barely any difference in sound, and it’s officially back in rotation 🥁

The BDC Open Jam is carrying the glow into January at — and this will be our last month in this Wednesday-night home.

After an unforgettable run filled with deep grooves, brave solos, and midweek magic, we’re closing out our time at Umbra the best way we know how: together, making music. Let’s send it off with extra intention, warmth, and sound.
