Would you try this mixed aesthetic look? Pairing “wrong” items together creates tension, and tension is cool in styling! Here I chose a “fancier” delicate lace skirt, and dresses it down with a graphic ringer baby tee. It doesn’t have to be a boho vibe like mine, personal style should remain truly personal to you! Try otherwise athletic wear with heels, or a fur coat over sweats. These mixed up pairings totally give cool girl vibes, and make an outfit interesting and most of all FUN❣️

Once you’ve defined your personal style, you can create a signature look that carries your vibe everywhere you go. From dressier outfits to weekend loungewear, you have a signature style that comes with you, and comes naturally. Not complicated, not forced.

Thinking categories rather than specific items. Myself for example, always will be seen in oversized sunglasses and hoop earrings, but they may vary day to day, based on my outfit, occasion, mood, or color scheme.

Maybe you love statement necklaces? Believe me when I say it’s ok, even encouraged, to wear one with the most unlikely outfit. It doesn’t hafta be the SAME necklace, but some similar variation.

Maybe you feel most yourself when you’re wearing a hat? A specific fabric (leather, denim)? Maybe you always wear heels? Or a well-crafted outfit formula? Maybe it’s a big purse?

Much like your Personal Style as a whole, your signature look should nod to your overall aesthetic, feel comfortable, and feel second nature to wear. I don’t even think about leaving the house without my sunglasses!

Remember, it’s a signature, not a uniform, so get creative ❣️

The last Thursday of the month meant it was time for the 4th NYC Girls Supper Club! For the 4th month in a row now, I’ve hosted a small gathering of awesome ladies from around the boroughs for a stylish dinner at new restaurants! It’s an opportunity to get dressed, get out, make new friends, and enjoy a great meal🥂🍽️ Tonight I held it in Brooklyn for the first time, at Fragole in Carroll Gardens, and the scene was warm, the vibe was mellow, and the food was good❣️
