Even though my candles cost way less than he imagined, hearing my nephew “price” them based on their scent was the sweetest thing 🫶🏽.

Honestly, I’ve been feeling a little low lately, even considering closing up shop because sales have been super slow. But his little comments were exactly the reminder I needed to keep doing what I’m doing.

He even joked that Claus might pass out from how good Claus’s Kryptonite smells 🤣. It was one of those moments where I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing, realizing that my love for creating scents is being felt, even by the tiniest noses around me.

Apparently, Snowflake Kisses stole his heart, being his top-priced favorite. I’d say he’s got very great taste.

No matter how difficult it may be, I will keep on waiting for my breakthrough. I know it’s coming. I could feel it.

What are ‘wet spots,’ you ask?

They’re those patchy little areas on the side of a candle jar. Almost like the wax is trying to run away from the glass.

This is absolutely normal with soy wax, and it doesn’t affect how it burns — it’s just a cosmetic thing.

Here, I’m carefully….hmm okay, maybe not-so-carefully heating those spots to try and smooth them out. Almost burned my fingers off in the process, so I guess we can consider this a labor of love 😂.
