Our Founder + Inventor 💫💡 Jacquelyn De Jesu Center used her power, purpose, and voice to inspire a room full of creatives on a Panel in NYC last night. It was a conversation focused on Female Leadership, Creative impact, & Pivotal Change.
She did this while managing a crisis in real time — under competitive attack from a malicious group back at it again — attempting to removing key pieces of press coverage in her Inventor and Female Founder story from Google search results. And, reporting her personal Instagram to Meta resulting in being removed from the internet entirely. The formal response shows that a "fake impersonation agency" was used to take this harmful action against her as a Female Inventor.
Generally, we've stayed quiet on the brand account and we'll continue to rise above the "dupe" nonsense.
We created a category. We invented a thing that birthhhed many dupes of our patented invention. We are the only original patented innovation with the rights to sell.
The case was over in 2023. Initiated by them in 2019. Against all odds we maintained and expanded all Patent rights on our invention as well the rights to speak on the experience — like any woman with an active community platform, and the truth on her side, there will be attempts to intimidate her into silence.
Or, remove her voice entirely.
This type of violent assault on American Female Owned innovation and the success of our business has been an ongoing strain and entrepreneurial challenge that she's been forced to manage for over 7 years. It is a result of standing up against an accused knockoff to protect her life's work and owned assets.
Why now? Again? In 2026? Its the fact that she is now, years later, standing tall on the other side with power, purpose, and a Female Founder story that this industry needs to hear.
She went through the process, survived it, and did so that others can learn and grow from the experience.
She will not be silenced.
The story of inventing, launching, scaling, and protecting (!) this beautiful, first of it's kind, globally loved brand is an important one.
