Human Relations

Human Relations Independent Bookstore - Used and New Books Human Relations is a new (used) bookstore in Bushwick. Human Relations are difficult, especially for book people.

Nevertheless, we are bringing you the best in quality used Literature, Philosophy, Film, Foreign Language, Noir, History, Art, Science, Science Fiction, Food, Drama, and pretty much everything else. (In order to make human relations even harder.) Human Relations is a joint venture of some hopeful, fresh-faced youth and the jaded, scowling he-crones of Williamsburg's Book Thug Nation.

“Marilynne Robinson tracks the movements of grace as if it were a wild animal, appearing for fleeting intervals and then disappearing past the range of vision, emerging again where we least expect to find it. Her novels are interested in what makes grace necessary at all—shame and its afterlife, loss and its residue, the limits and betrayals of intimacy.” -
