This is a daily choice — choosing calm over control, grace over frustration, and trust over tension. Life doesn’t always line up the way we plan, and neither does our hair. Some days the strands cooperate, and some days they don’t. But peace doesn’t have to wait for perfection.

I’ve learned that letting go is part of growth. When I stop trying to force outcomes and start trusting God with the details, everything feels lighter — even the moments that feel a little unruly.

Real Hair. Real Life. 🌿
It’s about showing up as you are, allowing God to work beneath the surface, and believing that He is faithful even when things look uneven, unfinished, or unexpected.

Because grace covers more than we realize.
And God is present — even in the smallest, untamed strands.

This year, I’m choosing a covenant — to abide in God’s Word daily. 📖✨

This isn’t a challenge.
It’s an invitation.

An invitation to enter into a personal covenant with God — to abide in His Word, not occasionally, not when it’s convenient, but daily.

When we read the Word every day, we’re not just gaining information — we’re forming intimacy. We’re allowing God to shape our thoughts, steady our hearts, and guide our steps. His Word becomes our anchor in uncertainty and our compass in decision-making.

Abiding means staying. Remaining. Returning — even on busy days, even when we don’t feel like it. It’s choosing faithfulness over feelings and truth over noise.

If you feel the pull to go deeper this year, let this be your moment.
A quiet “yes” to God.
A daily meeting place with His Word.
From that place, everything else flows.

My hair had a meeting without me… but we’re cool 😌

Curls doing their own thing, curls going rogue, no clear plan — just real life hair.

Some days the crown doesn’t cooperate, and honestly? That’s okay. Real hair has moods, just like real life. Today wasn’t about perfection or control — it was about acceptance, grace, and choosing peace anyway.

I’ve learned that not every day needs fixing. Some days just need kindness — to your hair, to yourself, and to the process. God is still faithful whether the curls fall in line or not. Growth doesn’t pause because things look a little messy.

Showing up as I am, trusting God with the details, and letting grace cover the rest.

PRAYER SESSION 🙏🔥

During prayer, I a panelist poured unto me in return.

And the Lord reminded me—it does not matter what spirit they carry.

What matters is WHO carries me.
“If God is for us, who can be against us?”
— Romans 8:31

This is a season where God is teaching us discernment, not fear.

Some people will pour from broken places.

Some will pour from pride.

Some will pour from confusion.

But when God is for you, no pour can poison what He has protected.

No word can override what He has spoken.

No intention can cancel divine purpose.

Let this prayer remind you:
God is your defense
God is your covering
God is your confidence
Stand firm. Pray bold. Trust God fully.
