📖 MultiWAVE is an 8-channel dual wavetable oscillator for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any Eurorack modular synthesizer. It uses a single set of controls to generate audio waveforms at eight independent channel outputs.

Each of the eight MultiWAVE channels contains two independent wavetable oscillators, Osc A and Osc B, each with variable frequency, modulation, and wavetable position.

MultiWAVE includes an output header for creating pre-patched connections to the audio signal inputs of two QXG modules. When grouped up with PoliMATHS it creates the 8-channel hybrid polysynth core of the New Universal Synthesizer System.

🎛️ 8-Channel Control - Dual wavetable oscillator with a single set of controls. Sequence A and B oscillators independently or together via 4 follow modes.

🎵 Polyphony - Generate polyphonic activations from monophonic sequences using Modulation Dissemination, Span modes, Spread, and Accumulate.

🎚️ Flexible Tuning - Independent v/o inputs per oscillator, global transpose, built-in polyphonic quantizer, modulatable detune and glide. Works as a Harmonic Oscillator with detune fully clockwise!

🌊 Built-in MultiMod LFO - Modulate wavetables with independent depth and shape per oscillator. Variable modulation time and depth per voice.

💾 Custom Make Noise Wavetables - Ships with wavetables developed from Make Noise modules. Smooth interpolation between waveforms, compatible with Waveedit format. Each wavetable contains 64 waves, capable of storing 8 banks of 8 wavetables.

🎯 Voltage-Controllable Span Modes - Activate channels in arbitrary order, sequentially with variable count, or via per-channel clock divisions.

🔗 Part of the N.U.S.S. - The oscillator core of the New Universal Synthesizer System, designed for seamless use with PoliMATHS, QXG, and future N.U.S.S. modules.

The Quad Stereo Gate (QXG) music synthesizer module is a Four Channel Stereo Low Pass Gate and Mixer. Like the DXG before it, the QXG utilizes a new low pass gate circuit that does not use vactrols. This circuit is 100% analog and its response was arrived at after many months tailoring it to meet or exceed the expectations that have been set by all the vactrol low pass gates that Make Noise has created over the years. Additionally the QXG adds a Vactrol button to select between a Slow, low-pass-gate-like response emulating the decay time of a vactrol (Vactrol button ON), and a Fast precision response that still maintains the gentle filtering characteristic (Vactrol button OFF). Fast response can be especially useful when patching QXG with complex and quickly-changing functions such as those generated by PoliMATHS with the OSC circuit in use.

The QXG also includes a Stereo Sum Output with voltage controllable Stereo Spread to quickly route all four channels across the stereo field. Each channel also has an individual output that removes the channel from the Sum when patched. In addition, QXG includes signal and control input headers for creating pre-patched connections from the outputs of PoliMATHS and MultiMod.

PoliMATHS is an eight-channel CV and Audio event generator for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any Eurorack modular synthesizer. It uses a single set of controls to generate complex functions at eight independent channel outputs.

PoliMATHS’ functions are made up of two components: first, the well-known Rise-Fall envelope with variable Curve (familiar from the original MATHS and Function and 0-Coast Slope); and second, a variable-Shape Oscillation whose amplitude is controlled over time by the Rise-Fall envelopes. This oscillation can be either low frequency for the creation of complex control functions, or audio frequency for native generation of audio events/notes with optional tuned pitch control via 1v/oct control voltage.

PoliMATHS also includes output headers for creating pre-patched connections to the control inputs of QXG.

Pocket SCÍON is a portable device that captures biofeedback data sourced from contact with living organisms. This data is used by the onboard sound engine to generate evolving soundscapes and a range of MIDI messages. The data is also accessible as OSC messages which are broadcast from the accompanying desktop application.

Anyone can create, shape, and enjoy music with Pocket SCÍON regardless of existing musical experience. Despite its stand-alone, plug-and-play interface, experienced or adventurous users can use the MIDI and OSC output capabilities to integrate Pocket SCÍON and biofeedback into their studios, installations, and audio- visual projects.

Pocket SCÍON includes instruments created exclusively for the device, made in collaboration with Tarun Nayar (Modern Biology), an ecologist, musician and prolific user of our Eurorack format SCÍON module.

Simultaneous to audio and MIDI, when used alongside the desktop application, Pocket SCÍON can also broadcast OSC messages from the selected OSC port, based on the stimulation of the internal biofeedback sensor.

This feature allows Pocket SCÍON to become a portable means for data sonification and visualisation with a variety of audio and visual based software, such as: Max/MSP, Pure Data, Touch Designer, Unreal Engine, and more.

The Stem Ripper is a compact 8 channel audio recorder designed for immediate full patch recording without the need for external hardware. Capture all audio stems of a patch with ease.

Patch stems are recorded directly to a micro SD card which can then be easily transferred to a computer to mix, edit or archive patches. Each input is recorded as an individual track in a 16bit 44.1kHz multichannel date stamped WAV file. Record time is limited only by SD Card size.

Two additional tracks within the output WAV contain a configurable stereo mix down of the inputs. The module has large 20Vpp per input headroom with LED clip indication if exceeded.

An optional 2HP ’Thru’ output expander duplicates the 8 inputs to a row of unbuffered outputs, eliminating the potential need for stacking patch cables at the expense of more case real estate.

A suitable 64Gb SD card is included with the unit.
