This gorgeous girl is Sophey, and we are delighted to name her our Brooklyn Barn Dog of The Day🌟🌟🌟

Sophey is known to be “SUCH a lover” who enjoys nothing more than starting her day by positioning herself on her people’s heads for a cuddle😂. We loved hearing her being described as “the best emotional support dog”♥️

Spectacular Sophey LOVES people. She’s a happy girl who was an absolutely wonderful visitor to the shop! She was friendly with other guests, and didn’t seem to mind getting loved on throughout her visit.

Soph also enjoys going to daycare where she plays with her rotating list of besties. When not romping with her friends, she likes to play in the water. From running through the sprinkler to swimming—Sophey is a water dog!

This pretty girl is NOT a fan of flying objects, and has been known to warn her people if a winged annoyance is nearby 🫣

It was so nice to meet sweet Sophey—we hope she finds her way back to Brooklyn Barn soon!

We’ve been busy making gift baskets today!

We would love to be your go-to gift destination for ANY occasion.

Life is busy, and summer is packed with activities. Let us take “find the perfect gift” off your to-do list! Shoot us a private message and give us a quick rundown of the occasion, and tell us what price range you want to stay in. We’ll put something perfect together, shoot you a pic for approval, and have it wrapped and ready to be picked up at your convenience. How easy is that??! Because we have been lucky to have seen so many great gift baskets, we have an endless supply of ideas(and we’re always bringing new items in).

OR—stop in and select your own items and tell us to wrap it up while you wait(or while you grab breakfast or lunch at Farm 42). We’re happy to stand by to offer assistance or answer questions at your request.

This sweet boy with the mesmerizing eyes is Nicky, and we’re delighted to name him our Brooklyn Barn Dog of The Day🌟🌟🌟

Nicky is a farm dog who does a great job looking out for his cows. When he isn’t working, you can find him lounging on the porch keeping watch over everything. It’s said that his best quality is his loyalty♥️♥️♥️

Nicky is busy learning about the world, and we’re so happy that he put Brooklyn Barn on his list of experiences. He was a calm and gentle visitor who took treats politely and posed for pictures beautifully! He’s known to be a big fan of his mom, and he soaked up pets and compliments throughout his visit🥰 We loved how silky-soft he is!

We’re told that Nicky enjoys taking rides, so we hope he makes Brooklyn Barn a regular destination—we loved having him visit!

We have been spending some time studying fragrances—listening to perfumers and soaking in reviews. In the midst of this process, we stumbled across a newer perfume house called Kumbra With Love, and we were intrigued by what we were hearing.

The packaging immediately hooked us. This fragrance experience starts with the unboxing. Each bottle is nestled in a “book” that tells a story, and includes a poem written by the creator. The bottles themselves are also a luxury experience. From the magnetic caps, to the perfect spray, to the exquisite design—every detail is pure perfection.

This fragrance line is crafted in small batches using natural oils(essential oils and plant-derived absolutes). They avoid harsh dyes, synthetic fragrance oils, and phthalates, and are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

We blind-bought one of each of their top-sellers thinking that there would be a few that might be a good fit for Brooklyn Barn. Now we have a problem. WE LOVE ALL OF THEM. From the initial spray, to the dry-down, to the projection and longevity of the fragrances—we are enjoying all of it.
