Exciting news to share! I’ve finally started working as a private cook in early 2024. Honestly, the past two weeks have been a series of brand new challenges every day—first time as a private cook, first time cooking in an unfamiliar kitchen, first time making a vegetarian menu, and the first time providing such formal and close-up service to people.
My suitcase is packed with all sorts of ingredients, seasonings, plates, and knives. Worried about the knives getting bended in the suitcase, I carefully placed them in my tote bag. On the subway, I suddenly remembered a recent news about a chef whose knife fell out of their bag on the subway. of his way home, leading to suspicions of criminal intent and a visit to the police station, at the time, I held onto my tote bag tightly, just dont want to be on the news...
I‘ve always believed that the kitchen is one of the most important places in a home. It not only brings family members closer but is also a place filled with joy and happiness. Of course, at the same time, the kitchen can be a high-stress environment, especially during work. Reflecting on watching ”The Bear,“ I could always feel the pressure in front of the screen. But as Chef Abe said, cooking is always about bringing happiness to people.
Whatever happens, I’m ready to embrace this brand new challenge and strive to create a delightful culinary experience for you, friends, and friends‘ friends. Thanks to everyone for the continuous support, allowing me to step into this cool journey with anticipation!

很高興能與大家分享我(終於)在2024年初, 開始了另一個私廚的身份。老實說,這兩次的晚餐讓我連續的焦慮了兩週,大概是因為所有的體驗都又是個”第一次” ,第一次私廚、第一次在自己陌生的廚房煮飯、第一次做全素食菜單、第一次這麼正式也這麼近距離的服務客人。行李箱內裝滿食材、調好的醬料、餐盤餐具、刀具,因為怕刀子放在行李箱內被壓壞所以放在托特包中,搭地鐵的時候突然想起前陣子的新聞,有個男子搭地鐵時刀子從包包掉出來被認為是有犯案意圖,抓到警局,盤問之下才知道他只是名下班要回家的廚師,正坐在車廂中的我牢牢的抓緊我的托特包,希望不要成為頭條。
一直認為廚房式住宅裡最最重要的空間,也認為廚房為核心的空間能拉緊家人的關係,但同時廚房也能是充滿壓力的空間,尤其談及工作的廚房就更不開玩笑了,相信大家坐在螢幕前看The Bear 都能看受到壓力滿溢的緊繃,但不管怎麼樣都像阿貝師傅說的一樣,料理是帶給人們幸福的。
