We love getting great reviews. Who wouldn’t? But it is extra special when someone mentions how great our book selection is. I take that personally. All of our books are carefully curated to reflect not only what I like, but also the interests of our community. I am constantly astounded by the number of locals who don’t know we have a bookstore. And a great one at that! Please tell your friends. Share us on social media. Bring people by to shop. Dog Ear Books is such an asset to our town and we want to keep it that way!

SEA OF CHARMS by Sarah Beth Durst is the third installment in the Spellshop series and was just released this past week. This cozy fantasy series has been so popular and we have it at Dog Ear Books!

Jessie is back today with her July Spin-the-Wheel book choice! WHEN THE MOON HITS YOUR EYE by John Scalzi may not be for everyone, but is a fun little read. New releases!

SEA OF CHARMS is the third installment in the Spellshop series by Sarah Beth Durst. This is cozy fantasy at its finest and is sure to please lovers of this series.

BEGINNING MIDDLE END by Valeria Luiselli is the touching story of a mother and daughter on trip to Sicily where they work through life's difficulties cooking together, playing chess, and delving into family lore. Described as "warm, funny, and poetic," this would be a perfect summer read.

Finally, there is FISHBONE CINDERELLA. Author Elizabeth Lim takes us to 1940s Japan in this historical fantasy where the main character escapes Japanese soldiers by turning invisible. The family drama, romance, and magical realism earn this one high praise in early reviews.

(And let me just say these publishers are killing it with the cover game. So many beautiful book jackets on our shelves!)
