How often do you wash your toe pads? 😶‍🌫️🛁

If the answer is never, throw them out immediately, come grab a new pair and ask us about washing instructions. It is safe to say you can hand wash any toe pad you have purchased from us with gentle detergent and lukewarm water and then air dry! Some handle the washing better than others, but in our opinion clean is more important than longevity.

Be honest, do your pointe shoes belong in the Ballera Hall of Shame? …. Oh, uhhh I mean Hall of Fame😉

But really, do yourself a favor and don’t go to Summer Intensive with shoes in bad shape. Come see us before you take off to make sure you have everything you need to succeed this summer! And if your pointe shoes do belong in the Hall of Fame, please bring them to your next appointment and sign the bottom as your official Hall of Fame (Shame) induction. 🩰
