It’s time for Round #2 of the Midwest’s most coveted Spec Racing Series; SWEET HEAT.

Hobbywing has stepped up the game substantially by kicking in a plethora of prizes to give away to not only the Top 5, but also ANYONE that participates in the series!
Pictured are the total number of gifts provided by Hobbywing, as well as the spread that we will be raffling off today in between rounds.

Pick up one raffle ticket with your entry at the front counter and cross your fingers for some free RC goodness!

Open Practice ends at 5pm on the Off-road Track, with Racing sounding off at 7pm.

You aren’t gonna want to miss this one; last round we saw a dominant performance from Gavin Moeller in both qualifying and the main events…do you think he is going to back it up? Or will we see a resurgence from last years Champion - Tallen Deede?

Perhaps one of the other contenders will throw their name in the hat?

Indoor RC Racing at Trackside Hobbies (Brookfield, Wisconsin) – Tight Racing and Close Calls

1/10 scale electric cars on a fast indoor track where there’s basically no room for mistakes. A lot of tight racing, a few sketchy moments, and some really clean passes mixed in.

You’ll see drivers pushing hard, trying to hold lines through the technical sections and still carry speed down the straight. A couple spots where it could’ve gone really wrong—but didn’t.

If you’re into RC racing or thinking about getting into it, this is a good look at what a real night at the track feels like.

What to watch for:
• Close, wheel-to-wheel racing
• Fast laps with consistent lines
• A few near wrecks that somehow get saved
• Real track atmosphere at Trackside
