Once in awhile I do get to finish a knife. Here's the latest with it's sheath. Gator leg bone, brass and buffalo horn spacers, forged 8670. Going up for sale tomorrow on Fiddleback Forge Friday. Proceeds will go to St. Judes.

Forged this last fall and just now getting time to finish. Farriers rasp blade, natural color elk handle, brass guard with leather spacers. Cut end of antler has brass inlays. 7" blade, light, quick and great in your hand.

We finally completed huge backlog of orders and found time to do a different piece. This is for a friends R***r GP 100 in .44 spl. I have the same model so pretty easy to pattern. He's camping with no feed so will surprise him when he gets home. We will be taking new orders 1st of August. ***rgp100

Really don't make many sheaths these days, but had a chance to do a special one for a great local client. The knife maker is Giedymin Kapuscinski and it's one of the best blades I've had hands on in a long time. Large, 15" over all and 9 1/2" blade, but superb balance. Wonderful fit and finish. Made the sheath work a pleasure rather than a chore. Owner wants an option to carry with a baldric strap and have a thigh strap available so that's the four rings showing. The inlay is ostrich leg.

Just finished an unusual project sheath for an A.G. Russell large hunter. Thanks to the owner for his patience on this one. Used a lighter vegtan liner with rawhide outer. Had forgotten what a pain it is to work rawhide, hands are still complaining. Over all, it came out pretty nice and fits the knife well.

Posting this to show a finished knife done by my friend Cliff Davis. Cliff forged this at the last Track Rock with the guidance of Scott Garrison who patiently worked with him to get a very nice rough blade done. Did the heat treat and rough grind in my shop over a couple weeks and then finished out at Cliff's and here. The work is 99% Cliff's with a little gentle nudging from Scott and myself. The handle is Florida whitetail behind Cliff's signature spalted oak and a mosaic pin from Olde Towne Cutlery. Thin, sharp and super in the hand. Well done Cliff! Gonna do a special sheath for it now.
