“This is why I soak my berries in lemon juice water. These are the Black Spotted Fruit Fly larvae that have invaded the U.S. since the 90's. Yes they are in every state. They are big enough to see in pies and cobblers. They are deep inside the berries and you don't see them when picking. Thinking about taking people for a tour to experience wildlife habitat, fisheries habitat, and a general tour of Nature at its best in our area.. is there anyone interested?

Went out doing a little deer scouting. Didn’t see any impressive sign but I did see 1 grouse, 1 Woodcock, 4 Deer and this little critter that had taken up residence in one of my Deer blinds aka Mr. Flying squirrel!
