Diabetes awareness post

Last night was horrible. My sugars wouldn't go lower that 350 even with taking insulin. What did I do to cause it? Nothing. I know that I have had this cold forever that won't go away. I woke up and my sugar was STILL high. I feel so sick. My stomach is messed up because of my sugars. This morning my sugar was still high.

Damage it does to me physically short term- nausea, vomiting, headaches, and possible diabetic ketoacidosis(which can be deadly if not taken care of immediately)

Damage it does to me physically long term- neuropathy, damaging of internal organs, loss of limbs

Damage it does to me mentally - anxiety, depression, anger issues, guilt
