Is this my chicken? No, not at all. Did it make its way into my extremely overgrown garden? Sure did. Did I scream really loudly when I tried helping it get back out and it freaked out instead? Again, sure did.

I was waffling about letting Neil and the Bonzo get some chickens. I am not anymore.

A and J were fantastic and kind. This was my first time greening a chuppah. All I can say is I know what to expect now. They wanted a more natural look with lots of greenery, minimal flowers and for it to blend into the outdoors. Her bouquet was a blend of garden flowers and wildflowers. I really like the blend of soft and vibrant colors.

Congratulations to A and J! I hope you had an amazing day and you deserve all the happiness.

Also I have decided that it's better to post phone pics than no pics at all. Get ready for my shaky hands and not properly focused pics. Thanks Raffaela Mueller-Marsano for all your help this day.

Those snapdragons are a perfect example of how gardening is going for me. Oh yes, they are absolutely beautiful. Did I plant them this year? No, I absolutely didn't!! They are from last year and somehow an annual became a perennial. The bachelor buttons are a volunteer. I've never grown bachelor buttons as well as these suckers are coming in. Everything else that I've planted this year is trying. Too much rain and then too much sun. We're bringing the chaos over here. Also the neighborhood skunk took out the Bonzo's pumpkin seedlings. 🦨🤦🏻‍♀️

This beautiful wedding happened Mother's Day weekend. Sierra was the first bride to sign with me outside of friends and family. Her trust meant a lot but she was so kind and easy to work with.

She wanted a pastel wildflower look. The aisle pieces also doubled as reception centerpieces. The tablescapes had taper candles, votives and bud vases with more beautiful flowers.

Congratulations to Sierra and Joe! I hope you have all the happiness you can hope for.

I survived Mother's Day week and my first big wedding of the season (I'll post pictures soon). I'm tired and I just want to couch rot. But I had some leftover flowers and decided to try out some foam free mechanics that I purchased. I don't know why but sometimes trying something new seems so intimidating anymore.

I'm not going to lie, foam is so easy to use. Stick a stem in and it stays in place. But micro plastics and all that. This pillow cage made me work. I definitely needed more greenery because even though there's a grid on it, you still need to create one with stems. After I got that in place my stems started to stay where I needed them.

This is definitely not my prettiest creation but for a first attempt at something new without any pre-planning, I'll call it a win. I'll get better and this will become seamless and second nature to use. Plus my conscience will feel better. Try the new thing I guess and be confident enough to admit it's not perfect but a work in progress.
