f you've known me for very long, you know I tend to jump in with both feet when I believe in something. The Shoppes on Main has been one of those things.
Some of you have noticed changes happening around The Shoppes on Main, and today I wanted to share a little bit about what's next.
First, I want to say thank you.
Thank you to every customer who chose to shop local. Thank you to every vendor who took a chance on us, filled a booth, stocked a shelf, and shared their dreams with our community. Thank you to the people who walked through our doors, attended our events, encouraged us, prayed for us, and helped make The Shoppes on Main what it is today.
What started as a simple idea became something much bigger. It became a place where small businesses could grow together.
Effective June 1, Kehly Cochran of KC's ReVintage will be taking over the day-to-day operations of the business. While you may see a new name and some exciting changes in the future, the heart of what makes this place special remains the same.
At its core, this has never really been just one business.
When you walk through our doors, you're walking into a mall right here in Bristow. You're walking into dozens of small businesses sharing space, sharing overhead, supporting one another, and working together to create something none of us could do alone.
Kehly will be overseeing the operations side of the business, but the real magic has always been the vendors themselves. Each booth represents a dream, a family, a side hustle, a passion project, or a small business owner willing to take a chance. That isn't changing.
We fully expect many of your favorite vendors to remain, and we're excited to see what new opportunities, ideas, and growth the future will bring under Kehly's leadership. Expect the same community feel you've come to love, along with fresh ideas and exciting things ahead.
For our vendors, this transition is intended to be as smooth as possible. For our customers, I hope you'll continue to support the incredible small businesses that call this building home.
There are moments in life when God opens one door and gently leads you toward another. As for me, I'm not going far. While I will be stepping away from the day-to-day operations, I'll still have a presence in the building and look forward to seeing familiar faces walk through the doors. This place and the people in it mean more to me than I can put into words, and I hope you'll continue to stop in, shop local, and support the small businesses that call it home.
The Shoppes on Main has always been about community, collaboration, and small businesses helping small businesses. That foundation isn't changing. If anything, I believe the best is yet to come.
Thank you, Bristow, for allowing me to be part of your story. I am grateful beyond words.
With love and gratitude,
Jen Taylor
