The Brimfield Antique Flea Market needs more vendors! It's not too late to sign up for the 2026 season. Brimfield is a great place to get started as a new antique dealer. Here's how:
1) This should be obvious, but it's worth repeating: you'll need antiques to sell.
The Brimfield Antique Flea Market is NOT for vendors selling reproductions, crafts, yard sale junk, or cheap imports just off the boat from China. If you sell homemade lawn ornaments or just cleaned out your basement, Brimfield is not for you. There's a reason "Antique" is in the name!
So hit up those estate sales and auctions and find some great antiques and vintage! Antique furniture, vintage clothing, lighting, advertising, toys, jewelry, ephemera: whatever the category, bring the good old stuff and you'll do fine selling at Brim.
2) Scope out Brimfield. What fields do you like? Each is independent and has its own vibe and schedule.
Ask yourself: Do you want to set up for a few hours? Or the entire week? Are your customers the hardcore Brim buyers out on Tuesday at opening? Or the casual shoppers on Saturday?
3) Pick a field. This is the hard part.
If you're selling higher-end antiques and vintage and don't want to be tied down all week, consider fields like May's or Dealer's Choice.
If you sell a variety of vintage and your customers are retail, maybe go for a field like Quaker Acres or New England Motel.
Another good resource to check out is brimfieldantiquefleamarket.com. Scroll down for a list of fields with their contact info. Go ahead and call or email some fields - they'll be happy to answer your questions!
When you sign up, don't forget about a tent - you can rent one or bring your own.
4) Show up at Brim with a killer load of antiques and vintage to sell!
It's a learning curve, but everyone has to get started somewhere. Even if the first show is challenging, you'll be glad to have joined the friendly and vibrant community of dealers and collectors that is Brimfield.
