Step 1… This machine is taking high res images of both obverse and reverse of coins. Each coin takes about 10 seconds. The images will be used for training an AI model that will be capable of grading coins from PO to XF. Over the last 3 months it has gone through a lot of changes/redesigns 6 different cameras, multiple lenses, 3 different camera locations, taking simultaneous images to single images, programming/timing, centering and positioning, servo’s, stepper motors, actuators, 3D prints more than i want to admit, and tons more.

It’s now ready to take 10s of thousands images. This is just the first step. Once the AI models are trained this will be used to grade coins , print labels, and possible package each coin.
