Just wanted to let you all know that the store will be closed until the middle of next week or so. Sorry about that. It seems that I have messed up my back a bit and am unable to drive (or sit, stand, lie down or walk) without a great deal of pain at the moment. I would like to be able to say that I was doing something heroic--like rescuing a velociraptor from a kitten--when I did myself this injury, but that is not the case. I just...um...STOOD UP FROM SITTING IN MY CHAIR...and my spine said, "Hey, isn't this loud popping sound awesome?" Apparently, this sort of thing happens to old people sometimes. Who knew? Anyway, while I am mending, I will not be there to sell you your new funny books. I will let you know as soon as the store is open again. In the meantime, go through your collection and reread some of those great issues you haven't checked in with for a while...

Update: No plumber until tomorrow, so I WILL be here at the store today until 5:00.

Okay, I understand that this is REALLY late notice, but the store will not be open tomorrow--Saturday, May 3. Having major plumbing issues at the house, and I have to be there to get the bathroom fixed. I know that tomorrow is Free Comic Book day, but having a reliable place to p*e feels a bit more important from my end. Sorry about that...

Okay, I know that this is late notice, but the store will be closed tomorrow--May 4, 2024. Yes, I know that it's Free Comic Book Day, but stuff happens. Suck it up, ya dang nerds!
We will be open at normal hours on 5-7.

The store will be closing at 3:00 on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Not forever, just for that afternoon. I promise to be back the following Tuesday.

Over the past ten years, I have heard tales about a mysterious creature called a "Three Day Weekend". Though this legendry beast sounds awesome-- and too good to be true, the store will be closed on Saturday, September 2 so that I can begin a quest to discover if such a creature actually exists.

Just a heads-up: The store will be closing at 4:00 tomorrow--Saturday, April 29th, because I say so. As the owner, I am allowed to do that. Back to normal hours on May 2nd.

The store will be closed on Saturday, October 22 because I have a family thing to attend. (Yes, my family has a lot of 'things', but I like them, so I forgive them.)
Because I like you as well (just not as much--sorry, but blood is thicker than...nerd-juice... or whatever it is that runs through the veins of your average nerd.) the store will be back to regular hours on Tuesday
