A quote from the article:
"There’s nothing quite like browsing the colourful aisles of a toy store, even with a child in tow.
Yet more and more consumers have been visiting these emporiums of joy for little more than window-shopping and surreptitious barcode scanning, before spending their real money on Amazon.com."

Lots of good articles out there about Toys R Us and the bankruptcy they filed today. This one has a great angle discussing how TRU failed in the online marketplace. If you haven't visited their website...don't, it's awful. You can still find a good deal sometimes in store, though.
Makes me wonder.....20 years from now, are there going to even be brick and mortar toy stores that you can browse the colorful aisles of??? We're going to set our grandkids on our laps and browse websites to come up with a Christmas wish list?
After getting into bed with Amazon, the iconic toy chain failed to build a robust digital business. Now it has filed for bankruptcy.
