Wow!!! Can I just say God is SO good!!! This has been a really hard spring market season for me. Sales have been down, weather has been chaotic at best and I’m just slap worn out. I was tired, discouraged, questioning what am I doing and about ready to just call it quits. But God! Forecast all week showed rain all day on Saturday (today) which is Mayfest and usually one of my best markets. Rain cleared out or disappeared, sun came out and people were everywhere!!! Booth was packed all day, so many repeat customers, tons of compliments and encouragement and the repeat customers were selling to the new customers. Best compliment ever!! Also made two potentially great connection for the future.
Ended the day tired but sales were up and it was a record day for The Blue Poppy. So all that to say, I’m not going anywhere yet. Just needed a little pick me up and today really helped with that.
Thank you to every single person that stopped by today and this season.

MAYFEST!!!! This Saturday in downtown Carrollton!!! 9-3. We will be on the square in the same spot as last year come on out and see us!!! Great time for Mother’s Day gifts, teacher gifts, vacation accessories or just a little something for yourself.

Mayfest we are packed and ready!!!! Rain is going to stop early morning and make way for a great day to come to the Carrollton square and support may great vendors that have been working so hard on handcrafted items just for you!!! Mother’s Day, teacher appreciation and end of the year, graduation, vacation and just because. There will be so many options for all of these opportunities and more.

This weekend is Cedar Valley arts and crafts festival. It’s our first year to attend and we cannot wait!! Weather looks like it’s going to cooperate except for a small window on Saturday so come on out and see us and so many amazing vendors!!!
