For Sips and Giggles, who wants to paint with me Tuesday evening, June 23rd, 6:30-8:30. We will create this happy little patriotic floral, just in time to celebrate 250th for America and 150 years for Breckenridge! Comment below to reserve a seat. $35, all materials provided.

For Sips and Giggles, bring your favorite beverage and come paint easy florals in watercolor! This is an adult class, pay as you go, not a monthly commitment. I will be at the studio on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30. The cost is $30 per session if you have your own supplies. If I provide the supplies, it is $35. We will create small paintings no larger than 12”x9” and will learn some fun, easy techniques! Comment below if you are planning to be there!

Fun little mini for a quiet Sunday afternoon. Our grandsons went home today and the house was TOO quiet, so I decided to calm my spirit and regroup with a little painting. I love cilantro!💚

What a great afternoon we had painting bluebonnets, learned new techniques and had a fun, relaxing afternoon! Thank you to my students, McKlane Roberts and Millie Walling, for accommodating my painters today! It was very much appreciated! My studio has new to me technology that allows everyone to see every stroke of my brush and how to mix colors! It is a game changer! You can see every detail, no matter where you sit! Thank you to everyone for coming today! I’ll be posting another date soon, so stay tuned!

Using my recliner for a studio today, I managed to paint this chubby little cardinal, using a photo reference from Rob Hudman. Watercolor can be a challenge, but it is always fun! Now all it needs is a name and I’m taking suggestions!

We couldn’t be more proud of our youth that participated in the first Art Show held in conjunction with our Stock Show. A big thank you to the people working diligently behind the scenes helping make it all happen and thank you for letting me be a part of it. I feel this event will grow and get better year after year. Thank you to my friend and fellow artist, Randy Meador, for your time to come and judge our show! And certainly not least, thank you Sumer Russell for your help and guiding me through the process. I do love and appreciate our community and and our people.

Be sure and come out to the Stephens County Stock show today at the Expo Center and show support for our Stephens County youth and see all the new things happening! We are having our first ever Art Show and Randy Meador (one of our hometown guys) will be there at 9:30 to judge the show! What an honor to have him do this for us! He is a top shelf artist!
