NOTICE ON SHIPPING!!!

As of today 8/16/25 I am no longer offering affordable shipping through USPS!!!

I currently have 2 rods lost in the USPS maze. One shipped from Indianapolis to me on July 31 and has not been scanned since. The other shipped to North Carolina on August 4. It has gone to Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and now Greensboro, NC for 3 days. It is SUPPOSED to be delivered on Monday.

Any rods that I ship in the future will be through UPS or FedEx. The cost will include their fee plus the cost for me to drive 70 miles one way to a shipping station.

I do not know the actual cost but other builders are reporting around $100 for UPS.

I am sorry, but I have no choice but to drop USPS as an option.

Off to North Carolina

Spinning rod built on a 7' blemished medium heavy blank wrapped with carbon twill. Will be used as an inshore rod. Custom cactus cork grips, stunning discontinued reel seat (I still have 1 in stock), gun smoke line guides all wrapped in orange, copper and aquamarine thread.

I still have over 60 blemish blanks that will save you $50 or more on a finished rod. From salmon to bass to trout and panfish, there is a blank for you.

WOW! One of a Kind

Built for a customer using new Fuji parts from a defective rod.

This Fuji grip is NOT on the open market and only available on manufactured rods. The rod failed first time out and is being replaced. The customer brought the broken rod to me to see if I could salvage the parts and put them on a new blank. This is the result.

MHX 7'11" swim bait blank, oversized custom cork grips, Fuji pistol grip-style reel seat and line guides, marbling between the rear grips, dressed in black and silver thread.

This one I can't re-create till Fuji releases the reel seat to private builders. So enjoy the pics.

Red, White & Blue Themed Casting Rod

Customer ordered red, white & blue themed rod. Built on a blemish blank, this rod is fully functional and very affordable. Casting rod, 6'8", medium, fast. Features custom cork split grips, marbling, red and blue metallic wraps, gun smoke line guides, and blue trim bands and winding checks. The first of three rods to be built in this style for this customer.

I still have over 50 of these blemish blanks for everything from salmon to bass to panfish and trout. They cut about $50 of a finished build. Message me today to find out what blanks I have and to order your custom rod at a less-than-custom price.

Rainshadow Revelation Red, White & Blue

Rainshadow Revelation carbon wrapped spinning rod with white paint job on the front portion. 6'8", light, fast, 4-10 lb. line rating. Custom cork split grips featuring blue and red checker board pattern with a red, white and blue marble job. This rod feels as sweet as it looks.

High Modulus Casting Rod

This rod was a joint effort between myself and the customer. He started building the rod under my tutelage but circumstances meant that I had to finish it. Blue and black to back law enforcement, this HM blank is also wrapped in graphite twill. Blue, black and silver thread are set off by the matching marbling between the custom cork rear grips. This rod is headed to Louisiana to catch southern bass.

Colors inspired by the buyer's roosters. Built on a 7', IM7 medium, fast action blank line rated at 8-17 lb. Custom cork grips, marbling in metallics, layered pheasant feathers, and lots of bling.

This rod should fish as good as it looks.

This rod went to a young angler who won a gift certificate at FBC Cameron's men and boys banquet. It is built on a blemish blank IM7| 6'6" | 6 - 10 lb | 1/4 - 1 oz | Medium Light | Fast. Custom cork grips, line guides with zirconium oxide inserts with a gun smoke finish wrapped in dark green and copper. It will be as good at fishing for panfish as it is to look at.

I have about 50 more blem blanks that I can build on at an extremely reasonable price as well as that many top run blanks.

Bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, fly rods, even salmon and steelhead.
