As this month comes to a close, I’ve been looking back at the work that’s moved through my studio… and my heart is full.

These past few months have held some of my biggest, most meaningful projects — community pieces, detailed installs, large multi‑process orders, and the quiet in‑between moments that no one sees but shape me just the same.

It’s been a season of growth and transition. Of choosing steady, scheduled, intentional work. Of learning myself again, and shaping my business into something that feels aligned, sustainable, and true.

I’m still just one woman here doing what she loves — one pair of hands, one heart, one studio — but the trust, joy, and connection that have come through my doors lately have reminded me why I keep showing up.

To every customer who believed in me, supported me, and let me create something meaningful for you… thank you. Your smiles, your stories, your excitement during pickups — those are the moments that stay with me.

I’m grateful for the work, the growth, the long days, the learning, and the beautiful things still ahead.

Here’s a little recap of the projects that shaped me this season.

This afternoon was one of those moments that reminds me why I love what I do.

The Custom Cabinetry by Bigfoot Construction and Finished Carpentry Inc order is officially wrapped and picked up — and watching Wade and Michele unbox each piece, one by one, with smiles, laughter, and that familiar hardworking energy… it brought tears to my eyes.

It’s never been about the paycheck for me. It’s about moments like this — creating something with my hands for people who truly understand the long hours, the risk, the heart, the craftsmanship, and the joy behind small business work.

Wade and Michele are the kind of people who give back, support others, and lead with genuine kindness. Their whole family works right alongside them, and today they blessed me simply by being who they are.

And as if that wasn’t enough, they dropped off their box truck for its next transformation — vinyl graphics and lettering. A big job, but this one lets me work outside in the sunshine… maybe even sneak in a dip in the pool between panels.

A huge thank you to Wade and Michele — for trusting me, trusting me with your brand, supporting small business, and filling my studio with joy today.

Phase 2 of the Brandon Public Library project is officially complete… and my heart is so full.

This wall has lived in my studio for months — through long nights, restarts, challenges, laughter, and a whole lot of learning. It’s not perfect… but neither are the stories we love most. And maybe that’s what makes it beautiful.

Nine life‑size book spines.
Nine stories that shaped generations.
Hundreds of hours of cutting, engraving, layering, rebuilding, and believing.
And today, they finally are in their forever home.

To Christy — thank you for your patience, your trust, and your steady belief in this vision. I hope you love this wall as much as I loved creating it. You have been such a gift through this entire journey.

To the Friends of the Library, and to our little village — this project is my gift to you. A love letter in leather, color, texture, and story. I hope the kids smile when they see it. I hope adults pause and feel something. And I hope it brings joy to our community for years to come.

If you have 9 minutes and 9 seconds, I’d love for you to watch this video — a quiet look at the months of work, the imperfections, the problem‑solving, the heart, and the magic behind this wall.

And if you’re local…
Welcome to the Brandon Public Library.
Come see it.
Come touch it.
Come stand in front of it and feel the stories.
This wall was made for you.

TJ from Downtown Mixed Martial Arts has been with me since the Hat Bar days — one of those customers who keeps coming back and trusting me with his logo, his gear, and his vision.

So when he reached out for something special for the wrestlers to wear for Fight Night on June 6th at 2 PM at Korneli’s On The Avenue, I was all in.

This round, we switched things up. Instead of the acrylic patches I’ve done on his trucker and ball caps, these Fight Night beanies are finished with bright yellow leather patches — bold, clean, and impossible to miss. They’re going to pop under those exciting Fight Night lights!

There’s something extra meaningful about creating pieces the athletes themselves will wear… it’s pride, it’s team, it’s identity.

Every time TJ comes to me, it reminds me why I love what I do — small businesses supporting small businesses, and community lifting community.
Can’t wait to see these on the wrestlers when the energy hits on fight night.

Thank you TJ!

Good morning, friends.
I wanted to share something from the heart — especially for those who’ve messaged me recently.

When I’m working on a large order (like the Bigfoot and library project I’m finishing up), I tend to go quiet. Not because I’m stressed or ignoring anyone… but because when I’m in production mode, I’m fully in production mode.

My studio is set up in a horseshoe, and on any given day I’m running 2–4 machines at once while rotating between 3 different jobs. When I get into that groove, it’s a whole system — swapping one machine as it finishes, moving to the next, assembling, engraving, prepping, repeating. It’s steady, focused, all‑day work… usually from 6am to 7pm, five or six days a week.

And here’s the truth:
I’m not ignoring you. I’m simply giving the current projects on my bench the same attention and care I’ll give yours when it’s your turn — and meeting deadlines is huge for me.

When I stop to reply, it’s rarely a quick message. It often means sourcing products, designing, or going back and forth to gather all the details — and that time pulls me away from the work already in progress.

So if you’ve reached out and haven’t heard back yet, please know this: I see you, I appreciate you, and I’ll respond as soon as I can step out of production mode without putting someone else’s deadline at risk.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for supporting this one‑woman studio. I appreciate you more than you know.

Mike from Mike’s Memorabilia has been such a steady supporter of Engraving For You — and one of the people who helped the Hat Bar get its first real wave of exposure.

So when my feed suddenly exploded with his new adventure, Mike’s Media Wisconsin , I couldn’t help but smile. Watching people you believe in grow… that’s the good stuff.

He needed three hats for him and his crew to wear while they’re out on client sites filming, and he knew exactly what direction he wanted to go: the Richardson 112 in grey/charcoal/black. Clean, sharp, and perfect for the work they’re doing.

I paired them with a black leather base patch and a custom‑engraved acrylic top layer in white, black, and red — a combo that makes his logo hit with that bold, layered pop.

These turned out crisp… the kind of crisp that makes you stop mid‑production and just admire them for a second.

And the best part? He loved them so much he shared them to socials almost instantly.

Small businesses lifting each other up — that’s the heartbeat of this whole thing.

Thank you Mike.

When a husband and wife choose to walk into the flames together… that’s a rare kind of devotion.

Two people, one team — serving side‑by‑side, protecting the same community, carrying the same weight, the same courage, the same calling.

Mike and Lisa are that kind of couple.

A few weeks ago, I donated a set of firefighter tumblers to the Eldorado Fire Dept. bowling fundraiser. Lisa saw them in the basket and really hoped she’d win… but she didn’t. And instead of letting it go, she reached out — because she knew I could create something just for them.

She told me how everywhere she goes, she sees “Firefighter Wife”… but never “Firefighter Husband.”
And honestly, she’s right — the women get the merch, the men get forgotten.

So I designed a matching set — his and hers — for a couple who serves together, supports each other, and shows up for their community as a united front.

These 40oz burgundy travel mugs turned out beautiful…but the meaning behind them is what makes them special.

Honored to create for the ones who run toward what the rest of us run away from. ❤️‍🔥

Thank you Lisa 🔥

Before I ever poured my heart into engraving, I poured it into being a mom. For so long, I thought motherhood was my entire purpose — and honestly, it still feels like the most sacred part of who I am.

Being a mom has shaped me, stretched me, broken me open, and rebuilt me in ways nothing else ever could.

Today, on Mother’s Day, I’m thinking about all the women who love their children with that same quiet, fierce, steady devotion. Without moms, none of this world — none of us — would even exist.

To every mom out there: your love matters. Your presence matters. Your heart matters.

Happy Mother’s Day. 💛

A little piece of Waupun tradition came through the studio a few weeks ago. 🏆

This traveling trophy has been passed from team to team over the years, with different engravers adding each new season. This year, I had the honor of adding 2025 – Waupun before it was handed off to the next winning team.

The gentleman who contacted me had his parents drop it off and pick it up, and I offered curbside service so they didn’t have to navigate my very uneven front yard (still waiting on that concrete path 😅). It was a quick squeeze‑in job, but I’m always happy to help keep local traditions going.

Here’s to all the winners — and maybe I’ll see this trophy again to add the 2026 - DeBoer Diamond Classic Champions. 💛
