We’re getting ready to harvest our very first crop, and Fire Watch has officially revealed exactly what we were waiting for — the right amount of amber trichomes.

That means the plants are telling us it’s time.

This room has been a journey from clone to canopy, and now we’re ready to bring it home.

It’s Trichome Tuesday inside the grow.

Today Ranger Flint has us on Fire Watch as we get closer to harvest.

Phil is taking a closer look through the microscope and checking the trichomes on each strain. Clear means the plant needs more time, cloudy means we’re entering the harvest window, and amber tells us it’s time to start making harvest decisions.

Every strain finishes at its own pace, so we inspect them one by one and let the plants tell us when they’re ready.

Harvest is getting close.
