Well this is embarrassing! We have asked folks to not drop off items when we are not open. These items which we think were meant for the thrift store were dropped off at the building owned by the First Baptist Church on their new patio! Please be respectful of the times and place you drop off donations for the Red Door, an outreach ministry of the First United Methodist Church. While we are united in Christ, we want to be respectful of spaces belonging to others. Thank you for helping us to respect those boundaries.

We will be closed this evening, Thursday, July 16. Depending on tomorrow's weather, and road conditions, we may be closed Friday as well.

Stay home and stay safe. The rain is/was much needed, but conditions are not favorable for travel. If you have been ordered to evacuate, please cooperate. Your safety comes first.

We will be closed, Friday, May 15. We apologize for our closures, but we have only 2 shift leaders available during May to cover 5 days and our personal schedules and responsibilities are making it difficult to cover every day we are open. Looking at our schedules for next week, it looks as though we may need to close for the week. We appreciate your patience as we do our best to accommodate all of our wonderful volunteers who tirelessly try to balance volunteer work and personal commitments. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer shift leader, please contact Allison Watkinson.
