Our little community board is coming to life.

Sawdust and Steel dropped off a flyer for their upcoming summer events last week, and there are still plenty of empty clothespins waiting to be filled.

If you have a local event, fundraiser, class, market, club, community gathering, or flyer you’d like to share, feel free to stop in and add it to the board.

One of the goals for the store has always been creating a place that feels connected to the community, and this is one small way to help neighbors discover what’s happening around them.

Gallatin General Store is excited to now carry products from Tangen Draw out of Big Timber, Montana 🤍

We’ve added their incredible ground bison and raw Montana honey to the shelves and coolers, and we’re proud to bring more Montana-raised food into the store.

Tangen Draw ranches regeneratively with a focus on rebuilding soil health, supporting native prairie ecosystems, and raising animals with care and respect for both the land and the food it produces.

It’s the kind of work that feels deeply connected to Montana — thoughtful stewardship, local ranching, and quality food meant to nourish both people and place.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped into Gallatin General Store during our first week 🤍

It has been so exciting welcoming people into the space, hearing your feedback, watching people discover new favorite products, and seeing the community start to settle into the store.

We also drew the winner of our first week raffle for a $25 Gallatin General Store gift card, and Nicole Laska was the lucky winner 🎉

Don’t forget to head upstairs when you visit🤍

Our mezzanine is stocked with secondhand clothing and small home goods that still have plenty of life left in them. Everyday pieces, unexpected finds, and little treasures waiting for a new home.

We also accept community donations.
Bring in a bag or two while you shop and enjoy 20% off your secondhand purchase upstairs during that visit.

Currently accepting:
• Youth & adult clothing
• Small home goods

Please no furniture or electronics, and we ask that donations stay small and lightly used as we grow the space.
