Where will your first 2014 ride take you?

2013 was a productive year for building the U.S. Bicycle Route System. Take a look at the map to see this year's new routes (in black): USBR 45 in MN, USBR 76 in MO, USBR 23 in TN, and USBR 50 in Maryland. Kentucky realigned sections of USBR 76 as well. Adventure Cycling Association also produced a Best Practices Guide that will help continue the momentum into 2014 and beyond! Thanks to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), Minnesota Department of Transportation, Missouri Department of Transportation, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Maryland Department of Transportation, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and all of the bicycle advocacy and trail groups/volunteers that worked so hard to designate these routes. Here's to many more in 2014!
