Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to bring a White House petition to light. The petition has a goal of repealing the NFA and would eliminate fees and registration of items such as suppressors and short barrel rifles.
If the Second Amendment is a Right rather than a privilege, why must we obtain permission slips ''tax stamps" from the federal government to exercise said rights? Imagine this, what if the federal government required you to pass a background check to exercise your right to free speech and it frequently took in excess of six months to obtain? What if you had to pay for a free speech permit each time you wanted to exercise that right and it was $200.00 each time? Well that friends is exactly what is happening with the Second Amendment.
If the government feels they can restrict ones 2nd Amendment "Rights" whats to stop them from restricting any of the others we also hold so dear (such as free speech)?
