Join us in celebrating the 50th Annual Tree Walk on June 2nd at 6:45pm led by Jerry Cashman - it will be a fun-filled evening exploring the historic trees and landscapes of “Old Bozeman.” Jerry has helped plant countless trees around town over the years, and if there’s a story behind a tree, there’s a good chance he knows it!

In 1975, Jerry and Jan Cashman moved to Bozeman and purchased the property where Cashman Nursery stands today. Then in 1976, they built the current nursery building, and Jerry led the 1st Tree Walk that year - beginning the tradition that continues on today!

Join the local legend Jerry Cashman, Bozeman’s very own “modern-day Lorax”, for a fun and fascinating evening exploring the historic trees and landscapes of “Old Bozeman.” Jerry has helped plant countless trees around town over the years, and if there’s a story behind a tree, there’s a good chance he knows it!

From local history to tree facts, landscaping insights, and stories from decades of planting around the community, there’s something for everyone to learn and enjoy. This is a relaxed, family-friendly walk; kids, grandparents, tree lovers, and curious minds are all welcome!

With temperatures dropping, it's a good idea to protect any newly planted perennials that haven't fully hardened off yet by covering them with frost cloth. Frost-tender annuals and veggies like petunias, peppers, tomatoes, squash, and more should also get a little extra protection. We have a variety of plant protection products, including frost cloths, HotKaps, Wall O'Water plant protectors, and more.
