CFR offers oncology-informed, nature-based retreats for women either in breast cancer treatment or in recovery, with medical and psycho-social counselors who are readily available to listen and offer assistance.

This is an incredible opportunity for women for physical movement, connection, and healing of body, mind, and spirit.

In the words of Norman Maclean, "A river, though, has so many things to say that it is hard to know what it says to each of us."

Restock on sports bras!

We are often asked, “What is a mastectomy bra? These sports bras look like normal bras. What is the difference?” The answer is seen in the second photo. Mastectomy bras have pockets to hold breast forms (aka prosthetics and shapers) for those who have had breast cancer surgery. This pocket allows us to bill these bras to insurance companies as “durable medical equipment”. That said, anyone can wear a mastectomy bra, and oftentimes find them much more comfortable and more supportive than underwire bras or other non-mastectomy bras. Curious to learn more?
