🚨 Meet the new owner of North Country Cycle: Chad Wells!

This is a full-circle moment. Chad was one of the first employees when NCC opened in 2000. After those early NCC days, he moved west to Durango, Colorado, where he studied exercise science and raced professional mountain bikes. He later returned to Northern Michigan and managed NCC’s Petoskey location in 2010.

So while this is a new chapter for NCC, Chad’s connection to the shop goes all the way back to the beginning.

NCC has never just been about selling bikes. It’s about helping people ride more, feel better on their bikes, get out on the trails, and stay connected to this community. Chad understands that, and we’re excited to see him carry it forward.

Help us welcome Chad Wells as the new owner of North Country Cycle. Stop in the shop to say hi or you can meet him at our first Taco Tuesday. Details coming soon!

When a little frame issue turns into New Bike Day. Trek really hooked it up on this warranty. When they say “lifetime warranty”, they mean it. The original frame was over a decade old and developed a small issue. Trek custom painted a new frame to match the old frame. Happy customer 🙌🏼
