Good Morning all you beautiful beings! If you find yourself wavering today, know you have the strength and resilience of your ancestors. They always walk beside us, watch over us, guide us. Their DNA runs through our veins, sometimes we need a reminder of that. Walk in strength, be the strength and let our ancestors carry you when you need it. Have a blessed day, sending you all love, hugs and prayers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The #1 question I get asked…

“How do I support my loved one in addiction or recovery in a HEALTHY way?”

Answer: Learn about codependency, start focusing on yourself, and heal.

I feel codependency is our way of trying to avoid uncomfortability. Whether it’s a fear, a feeling, an emotion, a limiting belief, or more. To me, codependency is not about addiction in the first place - it’s about feeling something inside of us that needs healing, but instead of looking into that uncomfortability; we numb it with a unhealthy coping skill- codependency.

Learning about codependency helps us stop our sometimes unhealthy tendencies.

Remember, when we enable we’re actually hurting the true individual and giving strength to the addict.

But when we challenge our codependency, dig deeper into ourselves, hold boundaries, and stop the enabling- we take strength away from the addict and provide possibilities for our true loved one to fight for recovery. 💙

And just remember- we can have unhealthy behaviors and still be a good person. We’re doing the best we can with the knowledge we have, in a very hard situation. Heal. 💙

Good Morning all you beautiful beings! Many people walk with us at some point in our lives. Each one gives us a little of themselves, they teach us, they love us, they help us to grow, and we have memories, both good and not so good. Life puts others in our life when they are needed and sometimes they are meant just to pass through. The same goes for us we also pass through others lives. Be thankful and grateful for all those who have given something of themselves in our life to be a better human. Have a blessed day, sending you all love, hugs and prayers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
