Maintenance on your deck or porch is very important! For the past 25 years we have always used a semitransparent stain on this porch. The finish lasts about 5 years and then a quick power wash and then brush on a coat of Behr.

Sometimes it is the simplest things that make your property look tons better. One of our customers is kinda trashy ( they have a bunch if trash cans for yard waste, trash and recycling of course ) Schavis built a short fence to hide their cans.

Old house fun! Over the years, many coats of paint have been applied to some areas of our house. This door just stopped wanting to hold onto the paint anymore! Time to go back to the basics and get back to the wood.
Interesting discovery! The door had a big crack in it and someone many years ago did a nice fix. It is holding firm.
Tomorrow I will strip the other side.

HEY! Thanks to all of you that were going to visit our booth at the Anne Arundel Fair Ground Flea Market. - we will not be there on Saturday. We set up our space #12 with items that we pulled from the Seneca Cannery Antiques Mall and one of the other vendors ———— wait for it ———- bought everything! So we helped them pack it all up and that’s that!

As many of you know, Schavis will be leaving the Seneca Cannery Antiques Mall at the end of June. Clearing our booths wall to wall. EVERYTHING is for sale - 50 % off ticket price or more. This weekend we will be offering some super deals at the Anne Arundel County Fair Flea Market and Craft Fair. The event is May 18 from 8 - 2pm We will be inside the main building. Come on out and check it out. Our items at the Flea Market will be $2 each or 3 for $5. SUPER BARGAIN PRICES.
