This Valentine’s Day, we have the pleasure of debuting our blog, the DEAN Digest. This project has been in the works for some time and we are proud to share Carlos’ story with all of you. Here’s a preview of the post:

There has been talk at DEAN for some time about creating a blog space where our team could share customer stories, employee highlights, tech updates, and so much more. But finiding a good starting point was easier said than done. That all changed when Carlos, a 48-year-old from a small village outside of Madrid, Spain, shared his story.

Nestled in the countryside, away from noise and pollution of a crowded city, Carlos lives close to nature where he can enjoy all the outdoors provides. A true adventure enthusiast, he thrives on any sport—whether it’s swimming, triathlons, rock or ice climbing, canyoning, or trail running, he’s done it all. But after a life-altering event, cycling has become more than just another sport for Carlos. It is, in his words, “my medicine, my psychologist, my way of life.”

Dawn and Dan ( and ), arguably two of DEAN’s biggest fans, have added to their DEAN roster with this top-of-the-line Torrey’s Gravel. Not only did they decide to customize this frame to Dawn’s exact specifications, it will also be rocking a jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind anodized finish.

This epic frame is en route to in Brownsboro, AL where it will be built to perfection by before hitting the trails. We can’t wait to see this baby fully dialed in and ripping in the wild. Follow along as we track its journey!

Did you know that DEAN will offer you credit towards a new bike? Here are the basics:

- Send in your old DEAN frame or complete bike
- Earn up to $700 towards a complete bike when you Trade In your DEAN frame
- Get up to $1,000 for complete-bike Trade Ins

All frames and bikes are sent to where they will be refurbished and given a new lease on life.
