An insane few days with the new & co team.

So proud of them all and the energy they showed to represent in front of the amazing crowds today… plus the insane results today;

5th, what a result for the talented Tasmanian. Think the worlds starting to know the insane talent Dan has.

6th- simply incredible speed with 3 crashes costing him the result he wanted, but so proud of him posting an incredible result, so much more to come.

in an awesome 28th is a huge start to the season for him.

result doesn’t tell the story of his true speed, but all his hard work will pay off.

Well done to not bad at all for a V-logger with a 18th place!!! putting in an awesome result against the worlds best.

Huge shout out to Pleasure to watch him enjoy riding his bike and finish an incredible 3rd overall. Stoked to have you on a Giga inners and an all round nice dude. Even more stoked that he could get the time off work at & to race! That team has some talent!

3rd place overall for the as well is a great reward, Roll on Leogang World Cup and Austria/ Slovenia

• Introducing our Bike of the Year 2022 enduro bike winner, the Nukeproof Giga 297 Carbon Elite!

Nukeproof introduced the Giga as its ‘super enduro’ bike in 2021, offering riders a bike with more travel.

With 180mm of rear-wheel travel and a frame based around Nukeproof's downhill bike, the Dissent, the Giga has balance and composure when the going gets rough. Despite feeling like a big bike it’s easy to loft the front wheel up and make shapes once you’re in the air.

Taking the top spot in enduro bike of the year isn’t easy. But the Giga managed to outshine the competition on steep, natural terrain. Its ability to hold a line and carry speed is simply outstanding.

Technical editor-in-chief, Robin Weaver says:

“The Giga 297 Carbon Elite isn’t perfect. I’m not saying it is. The fork works well enough, but lighter riders might find it a little over-damped, and it’s not as comfy on the hands when things get really rough.

“It isn’t the speediest climber, but it’s still easy-going enough for the most part, even if you do need to flick the shock lever.

“Get the bike pointed down pretty much any trail, though, and the balance the Giga exudes, along with the impressive proportions and rear suspension, make it a blast to ride fast.”

– Terrifyingly fast

CONS

– Fork isn’t as forgiving as some
– Not the easiest going on the climbs
