I have been putting a lot of thought into my channel as of recently and I thinking it may be time to hang up the magnets and gopro for a while. I have been sharing my treasure hunting adventures with the world now for almost 6 years, over that time I have made some amazing discoveries, life long friendships and a great sense of community.
However over the last year or so the channel has just not been moving the in direction I had hoped and planned. Despite my efforts to provide fun and engaging videos with some great discoveries, the views and interactions are just not there. I spend hours on location, then editing footage and creating thumbnails, and only receive a mere 100 views with close to 5000 followers. Now I never imagined making this my full time career, but the amount of work I'm putting into the channel is just not paying off, so its clear that what ever i am doing just isn't working, and I'm not sure how to change that.
Now I don't think that I will stop completely, and I definitely wont stop magnet fishing and metal detecting, and I hope that others will still invite me out to join them on adventures. But for now just know that the channel will not be as consistent with videos and content as it has been for the past 6 years.
