Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library We are a used book store in Boothbay Harbor Maine dedicated to supporting and promoting the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library.

In 1961 a small group was founded to support the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. This all-volunteer, fund-raising effort has grown from buying one or two books for the library to making an annual donation of $30,000 or more. Books of every description are donated, sorted, shelved and sold in the historic Hyde House on McKown Street behind the library.
