Veterans thrift store

The store will be closed from now until June 23rd. The store is going through reorganization with a new owner. It will still be the Veterans Thrift Store and the proceeds from the sales will still be going to the veterans. Please continue to donate and shop at the store. Laura and Darlene greatly appreciate the years of support from everyone the years that the store was ours. Thanks to everyone and may God continue to bless the Veterans thrift store.

We are looking for someone to take over the Veterans thrift store. We are unable to run it and are looking for someone to continue to run it for our Veterans. Please pm me if you are interested.

Mark your Calendars now we will be doing the 100 mile yard sale at the VFW in Hamptonville again this year. Its the last weekend in JULY. We will be doingfill a bag for 5.00. And our Veterans will be doing the hotdog lunch. So mark your calendars now so you will Not miss out one super great deals..

If you have come to the store and we have been closed we want to apologize. Our best Volunteer Stevie Lash is very Very sick. We think he's got pneumonia, and only having one lung And a mechanical heart it is not good having pneumonia, so he has been out. And with no other volunteers, we have no one open the store. Please say a prayer for Stevie to get better real soon. He's been going through a lot of oxygen and ran out and had to suffer for 2 days. Please understand we are doing our best with the store we can.. we are in desperate need of VOLUNTEERS. we cant do it alone. Please if you want to Volunteers just come anytime you can when we are open. Tuesday-Friday 10-6 Saturday 10-2.

We have made a big decision at the store. Darlene Crews is going to retirer and im going to stay and run it with our volunteers.

Summer is almost here we have shorts, skorts, Capris and swim wear for all ages and sizes. Come fill a bag for $5.00. That's clothes shoes socks underwear and Bras. Swim wear is only $5.00 a set or $2.50 a piece for adults. $2.50 a set or $1.50 a piece for kids.. we also have sandals, flip flops and Summer dress shoes. We take donations as well. We take everything except out of date car seats must be under 7 years old and old mattresses. Come shop and help support our Veterans. We are a nonprofit Store and our proceeds go to the Veterans. We are also in need of Volunteers to help put items out or hang up clothes. The Veterans are worth our time. Freedom is NOT Free thank a Veteran or Volunteer for them.
