I had adopted her but she refused to come away with me. It was weird because dogs can't wait to leave the kennel. She was crying and stubbing her paws. I should have dragged her. But when I looked down I understood the reason and I had to make a CHOICE "When the time came to take her home she was just out of that cage, from that moment a new world awaited her, a wonderful life and a lot of love. Any another dog would have run into the embers of her rescuers. But she did not. She stood still, sticking to all fours and refused to come out of the cage. In a corner a small Chihuahua Taco looked at her in fear.

She understood that she was about to lose her her best friend. And in that moment a small miracle happened. The couple saw the whole scene and decided to adopt them both. They did the documents also for the chihuahua and all 4 went out the door of the shelter. was taken in the car, before leaving. Personally I would like to wish these two dogs a happy life full of love !. But above all so much happiness also to these two wonderful people ❤️❤️❤️

Well, let's try this post again. I keep losing my pictures!
These products fall into my "Pens With A Story" category. One of several special orders for the holiday season, this one was delivered yesterday to a pastor friend in Sandpoint...six beautiful, medium sized pens made with Olive wood from the Holy Land and 24 Kt. gold plated Christian fish clips that match the hardware on each pen. These pens have a very comfortable feel and are even more stunning in your hand. Thanks Dave for your order including a text today for two more pens!
I especially enjoyed the story of the wood that I order directly from a grower in Israel. It's described in it's Certificate of Authenticity: "The Olive tree is a very slow growing tree and can live for many hundreds of years. When reaching the age of 200 years the trunk disappears, shoots develop at the base of the trunk and eventually grow into a new tree, hence the Olive tree is known as 'the immortal tree.' The people of the Holy Land protect the tree refusing to ever cut them down." Pen blanks are produced from periodic trimmings of the Olive trees.
Let me know if you have any special wood you would like me to "turn" into a "Pen With A Story." It could be from your house or other building or place, tool, tree, etc. that has a special meaning to you. I will do my best to re-purpose it into a fine writing instrument that preserves it's sentimental value in the form of a practical heirloom pen.

Had a great time at the Garden Square Community Christmas Arts and Craft Show in Post Falls this past Tuesday. It was only a 3 hour flash sale but people came there ready to buy and I really enjoyed visiting with so many of them. Our first year there and our table was right next to the food and hot cider - perfect!!! Inventory is getting low so I need to get back to production to replenish our stock and complete several special orders before Christmas...busy!
