From the beach to your jewelry.
Did you know each shell used in our jewelry is collected right from our local Florida beaches and takes a MINIMUM of 4 days to be turned into jewelry?
Day 1️⃣: Collect and Clean
We wash each shell and soak in a cleaning mixture for 24 hours
Day 2️⃣: Rinse and Drying
After the cleaning the shells get multiple rinses and must dry out fully for at least 24 hours. You can’t rush this process before moving on to the next step.
Day 3️⃣: Oiling
The shells must be filling dry before they receive a buffing of oil. This oil enhances the colors and adds an additional protection. After oil is applied they must also dry for 24 hours.
Day 4️⃣: Wire Wrapping and curing
Now the fun part wire wrapping and Turing them into pendants and charms. A finish is applied to the inside of the shell that requires time to cure.
