I had shoulder surgery at the beginning of January. I thought by February I would be mostly good to go. I thought wrong. And physical therapy is MOST DEFINITELY getting the best of me now.

After a lot of thought and conversation with my family; I have come to the decision to take a hiatus from owning a storefront business. It breaks my heart to say it, but I think it’s best for me to take this break to focus on healing and recovering.

I hope to be able to reopen come fall time frame.

I am really going to miss this so muc!!!

We will be open today (January 27, 2026)! Jeff is going to be moving a little slow though due to a minor injury he got while working his “regular job” on Sunday. Also, Sabrina and Jeff’s daughters are going to help by clearing the snow off the sidewalk in front of the store, so Jeff will have to step out for a little bit to bring the girls home after they get done with the sidewalk.

We tend to follow Bolivar Schools lead when it comes to snow days. The schools did announce yesterday that today will be a snow day, and we will be doing that as well.

There’s a second reason for the snow day. My husband’s job has him out doing snow clearing work and I am still not able to drive due to my shoulder being immobilized from my surgery earlier this month.

If you can, stay home, stay warm, and stay safe!
