The mouse was born out of necessity, and has become a great source of joy & fulfillment. Over the years, the business has grown into my unique design style. In the raising of 4 children, and now 4 grandchildren, I’ve expanded my lines from dolls (Precious Gems) to pillows, to purses & aprons, to greeting cards & a cookbook, to home decor (slipcovers and curtains), & most recently to yard & table a
rt. Church Mouse Creations is not static but dynamic, always moving forward. A highlight of the business has been the appearance of my sock monkey ornament in the movie, “You’ve Got Mail.” For the last two decades, I have participated in juried art shows through the Boise Art Museum & Boise State University, as well as many other regional art & craft shows. At least twice a year, my home becomes a store featuring my latest creations. Besides my many product lines, I also offer slipcovered furniture items for sale. The adage at our house is, “if you sit very long, you’ll be slipcovered.” But that isn’t true, as everything already has a slipcover. Clients comment on my attention to detail and a professional finished product. As a woman of Christian faith, I believe this creative art is a gift from God. My desire is that the items you order for your own home or as a gift will be something that brightens your day and warms your heart. Custom orders are always welcome & many of my new items are a result of collaboration with clients.
